I struggled for 5 years to be a mother. Partly because I waited so long. Partly because of my genetics. Work was my first love. But when I had my son, he became a part of me I never knew existed. Most of you know he was #donorconcieved. And I wish I could reach out to you all and say…your fears are lies, you will connect with your child more than you can possibly imagine. All that being said…I got my dream job that took me away from my son for a very long time. I struggled with what this all meant. How could I be a mother that did everything to have her baby and then leave…for #work. None of it mad sense. The #hussle was a lie to me. Life meant so much more.
