We know exactly where we are headed if we choose inaction again. Today, on the first day of the conference, I am hopeful that we will take tangible and specific actions that will pave the road towards climate stability. We do this for us, children and young people around the globe, and for future generations, who deserve to have their rights fully realised on an earth free from the consequences of their ancestors' passivity.
