The most heart-stopping view, dotted with islands - as tall as the Tokyo Sky Tree is from sea level. I didn’t know it was my dream to stay in a hotel until I got here. As the sun set, it burned neon pink and burned the world in its brilliant hue. Reality, or all of the anxiety that comes with reality, was gone for a moment. Designed by Tadao Ando and now a private 7-room resort, we never could have gotten in with tourists abound. It was our last chance, and we took it. This isn’t sponcon, just a couple of friends who shared in the desire to spend some money so we could try to stop time for one night. And we did it.
