From the 30th September to the 1st October, Italy will host the Youth COP and the Pre-COP in Milan, where young people as well as climate and energy ministers from a selected group of countries will discuss some crucial political aspects of the COP26 negotiations.
This is only one of a long series of meetings, negotiations, and conferences that will only be meaningless talks if our leaders don't begin to treat the climate crisis like a crisis.
For this reason, on Friday 1st October 2021 I will join the student strike in Milan with local and international activists.
We will demand a real system change based on climate justice, which is the only way to stop the climate emergency. And we will make sure our leaders understand that #anotherworldisnecessary.
