I’m only here to build and never to tear down. I love my mother and respect her truth, but I’ve learned that we can have difficult conversations and express ourselves without disrespecting one another. I’ve been healing self and pealing back layers for some time now and this is one of the reasons I joined the cast, was so I could demonstrate a new level of healthiness, transparency and boundaries for black men. There’s so much strength in vulnerability.
