Knowing Chadwick Boseman has always been about reveling in both the joy and the lessons in life, so today we celebrate #Juneteenth as a nation for the first time, making sure that we also understand it’s history. This symbolic victory is a step in the right direction, but we have miles ahead of us as we continue to fight for equity, reparations and justice reform, and against voter suppression, food insecurity and the laundry list of issues that have debilitated our community for centuries.
