I never would’ve imagined my parents witnessing a Vietnamese character as a series regular on a tv show. For this I am so proud and grateful, and to those who initially saw me as the character of Desi, thank you for the opportunity, I was so glad to see many girls saw in her what I did. Strength and courage. She never backed down from a fight. And the fact that they featured her family, culture and personal history is pretty freaking awesome. To the fans, from the bottom of my little Vietnamese heart, THANK YOU, a thousand times over. Thank you to the cast for welcoming me and Desi into the MacGyver world. I will cherish the times that I was in your company and will never forget the memories that we shared. I am grateful to the crew (all of you! Old and new!) for your artistry (in all departments) and passion and countless hours to make this show amazing. I’m genuinely going to miss working with all of you and I hope to work with all of you again in the future Compiled some of my favorite fight scenes. I am by no means a stunt person. This is an actors fight reel 😂 basically meaning- not that badass. Being a stuntman/woman is a whole other beast to tackle and I don’t have the guts to do it. I bow down to you stunt people. You guys are my heroes. I am eternally grateful to the stunt men and women who made Desi look like Bruce Willis in Die Hard.
