*#operationpigeonhole continues… Street Photography ? --------------------------------------------------- let's face it we don't all live in New York or San Francisco, even though Instagram would have you believe that 49.9 million of the 50 million users do. But we do all have streets, which opens up an entirely new mode of mobile photography: #streetsofInstaGold --------------------------------------------------- street mobile photography can be raw and dirty or soft and clean, it can concentrate on the morning sun down an empty street or the hustle and bustle of a packed subway. @candidcameraman @twheat @13thwitness @femmephotale @chrisozer & @福田洋昭 are great examples of different types of street photography. street photography is tough, but just because you don't have high rises or a local panhandler who is stuck on performing act 2 of Hamlet doesn't mean you can't shoot your street. --------------------------------------------------- tips: get over the embarrassment of being "that guy" stopping on a crowded street to set up your shot. your photo will be worth it, even if the guy who almost STEPPED on you while you were kneeling down to get the perfect shot of two cones down a street doesn't think so. shoot early - shoot often, edit and post later. let latergram be your friend. take your time to look down that alley that you normally just walk by, there may be something cool down there. --------------------------------------------------- so now it's your turn, let me know a few people who you think fit in this pigeon hole?
