Please watch @ローラ・マラノ and I continue our ongoing panel discussions about ways to combat online sexual exploitation. In this panel, we are joined by Romina Canessa and Hera Hussain as we examine the issue of exploitation from a legal and tech perspective.

Last week, US Congress continued hearings with social media power players about regulating the tech industry. The topic of sex trafficking and child pornography was brought up several times.

We filmed this discussion in October of last year and are thrilled to be posting it at a time when this issue is finally being acknowledged. We discuss how tech companies are working to combat online sexual exploitation- what they are doing well and what could be improved.

We also discuss the dangers of spreading misinformation, how racism and exploitation are often intertwined, and our responsibilities as citizens of the digital age.
