THERE IS MORE THAT CONNECTS US THAN DIVIDES US.

The beauty of being human is how we can all be so unique yet be connected by so much. When we allow ourselves to see the humanity in others, we realize that there is more that connects us than divides us -- we all have the same needs for food, shelter and love, and the same desires for belonging and happiness; we all cry and rejoice; we all have fears, and we all bleed red.

By embracing our shared humanity, we can all be part of ending gender inequality in our society which continues to impact us all. There is often the misperception that gender equality is just about women’s rights. But gender equality is actually just that – equality and freedom for all genders – the freedom to live beyond the confines of gender norms – the freedom to challenge outdated gender stereotypes – the freedom to be our true selves.
