THE FIRST TAKEで今回は「Thinkin about us」を歌ってます🎙

世の中は今、
上を向けば、とか、いつか必ず、とか
とにかく手を取り合えば、とか、そういう抽象的な歌で溢れている。

もちろんその気持ちはとても大事で、自分も追求している永遠のテーマ

でもそんな抽象的な言葉しか存在しない世界は、誰も傷つけていない、ただ「普通」と少し違うだけの人たちを傷つけてしまっているんじゃないかな。

本当に人と向き合って、お互いの違いを認め合って、それからどうやって共に生きて行くかをもっと深く考えてこそ、本当に愛が意味を成す時が来ると思う。
これからは、僕たちがそれをしていかなあかん
そういう想いで作った歌です。ワンテイクで、今の自分の祈りを出し切りました。

The world we live in now is filled with songs about looking forward to a brighter someday
Abstract aspirations like coming together, holding hands

Of course, these are important, timeless themes that I too pursue

But a world where only vague words and empty promises exist, is a world where innocent people are hurt just for being a little different from what is considered “normal"

When we are able to truly reach out, acknowledge each other for our differences, and take the time to think about how we want society to look like, I think that will be when love will truly mean something.
And that is what we must do as a community going forth
This is what I was thinking about when I wrote this song, and when I sang for this performance; all of my prayers are captured in this single take.
