Last night she woke up in the middle of the night and didn't want anything to do with me. She was so upset and it’s hard when you want to do everything to comfort your child but they just don't want you to. You wonder “have I failed” “what did I do wrong?!” but I know deep down this is just a specific phase we must all navigate with grace and understanding. Don’t get me wrong, I adore my girl’s relationship with my husband and he is the most incredible father. I'm not saying I want to be the favorite parent, I just want to be in the mix. Bring vulnerable and honest is hard and I hope that you can with non judgement understand where I'm coming from.
