The one on the right was taken on my way to the airport to get there. My job comes with loads of perks (attending Cannes Film Festival being just one) but it's certainly not all rainbows and gumdrops. I remember nearly saying no to this experience because (and this is the irony of how my mind works) I was worrying about not being 'busy enough'. I would have robbed myself of such a brilliant opportunity because I was anxious about not having enough opportunities - wild, I know! That’s what the picture on the right shows. I've come to learn that it all depends on me - when I let this feeling get the better of me, it's paralysing, but when I have it under control, it's my greatest ally. It keeps me motivated and excited and it feeds my creativity and thirst for adventure. The picture on the left is a day later and an entirely different me, because I had taken control back and was loving the moment. The older I get, the more I recognise this in the people around me and the people that inspire me. I was totally taken by surprise when I watched the #BrunoVTyson #SkyDocumentaries on @SkyTv. I love boxing, so watched to see some action, but was very touched to hear the stories of two of the greatest fighters in history, both of whom channelled their experiences and pushed through to reach their potential.
