Brother filmmaking team Mark and Greg Runnels created this annual award in memory of their sister, Lisa Runnels-Shelton. Lisa executive produced a documentary that the Runnels Brothers directed called STAGE 4: BRAVING UNCERTAINTY about her and two other people’s journeys living with a terminal disease. I had the pleasure of working with Mark and Greg on my very first feature film YOUTHANASIA. To know that these seasoned filmmakers believe in me and in SISSY fuels me with even more purpose.
