What happens is that he has been compared to Julio Cesar Chavez, in an unfair way. Julio is my Hero and is Mexico’s Greatest Hero of all time (Together with Hugo Sanchez), but Canelo is fantastic and an incredible Warrior also. And with a lot of class. Julio was 87-0 before his first draw, but Canelo has only lost to Floyd (And that’s because he didn’t listen to Don Jose Sulaiman’s priceless advice telling him that he had to wait two or three fights more before facing Floyd [Im not saying that he could had defeated Floyd, but who knows]). I want to tell Canelo (Even if he doesn’t find out) that he is carrying Mexico’s weight on his shoulders and that he makes Papa Bear proud. Such a classy and down to Earth guy. He’s not a very outgoing person and that goes against him, but that’s who he is, he keeps to himself. Canelo: As soon as I have a gorgeous Lion, I will name him after you. Keep doing your thing and inspiring millions, you’ll see that when you retire, suddenly, everybody will Love you like they should had Loved you all along.
