We were known as “the wives of” instead of who we actually were. It’s been such a learning and growing experience for me personally. I was so lost in someone’s else’s life that I lost me. I’m glad I’m finally finding myself today. I also realize how much upbringing and other behaviors played a part once I explored the concepts of codependency and abandonment.
