I’m fairly confident that when my parents enrolled me in swimming lessons as a child they would’ve never imagined the places it’d one day take me. It’s hard to summarise the years of my life that have been dedicated to something that gives me so much joy. The world of swimming has given me more than I could’ve ever imagined and I can confidently say that although I’m closing this chapter, I’m already incredibly grateful for the next one I’ve begun with FMG. I’ve travelled the world, swum in some incredible pools, met countless amazing people, experienced the highs and the lows of elite sport, completed an accounting degree in the middle somewhere and at the end now can look back with immense pride in what I’ve achieved. To my parents, thank you for all the early morning drop offs and weekend meets. To my coaches, Bohly and Mick, my achievements were only possible with the support and guidance you have given me. To all the physios, S&C coaches, competitors, teammates, friends and family who have been by my side through this journey, I thank you.
