This first picture is of Fabiola Mendieta-Cuapio (in front of new truck art by Shepard Fairey and @amplifierart ). Fabiola is the incredible human behind Brooklyn Immigrant Community Support, an organization that came together last March to provide mutual aid to immigrant families around New York. She is indigenous, from México, wearing an amazing handmade traditional textile work. She is a FORCE and her ability to turn small resources into major community support is nothing less than biblical. Her organization passed out 2500 boxes of groceries today. Each box makes ten meals.
