Maybe you spilled red wine on something that’s not red. You probably want a professional to handle it, but dry cleaning can release nasty chemicals into the environment. We have a better solution - try pouring white wine on the fresh stain, blotting with a clean cloth and hand washing in warm water, but check the care label first. More wine can never hurt.
