Well, I don’t design things but I give them the spirit they need to become alive. That’s all the point about African masks where I take inspiration. Because they were made to serve a purpose and not just to be objects of decoration or museum objects, everything I do follow the same process. Everything started with this tiny mask of #Punu tribe inspiration from #Gabon. I bought it once back in #Cameroon 🇨🇲 in 2010. It has remained in a box until 2014 when I started walking around the 6th arrondissement of Paris to find out plenty of others masks were stocked there and no one knew about it (I then launched a walking tour to show and explain African mask history - post 4). Launching my company @littleafricaparis, at some point (short story), this mask appears to me as the one to carry our values but also our missions. I took it to my graphic designer and after a few back and forth we ended up with this. As said, I don’t design but (I do draw 😉) I also know I need to feed designers I am working with to arrive to the point you can feel the power and the values we want to share.
