🧧 Happy Lunar New Year! Growing up, I always associated new year with red envelopes. How can you not? Imagine being offered these majestic red envelopes from family members and friends. Inside, money. Yes, free money. I remember one time as a kid, I got $10. That’s a lot of money for a 7 year old. Imagine being given a dozen of them because your Mom comes from a big family. That’s $100! Now that I’m an adult, I’m the one dishing out the envelopes. Womp womp. Lol. Part of growing up also means understanding that Lunar new year isn’t about money. It’s about family.
