My master’s thesis was focused on Diversity in STEM and the value Latinas bring to careers in these fields, and my studies remain one of the singular reasons for the establishment of the @evalongoriafoundation.

Latinas have been breaking glass ceilings in STEM fields for decades. I celebrate them — and young ones wishing to follow in their footsteps — on International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The future is so bright, and I am still energized by the extraordinary future and potential of girls and women around the world.
