Wallpaperさんのインスタグラム写真 - (WallpaperInstagram)「Furniture made with impeccable joinery and quality craftsmanship is a surefire winner in our book, and when this is coupled with thoughtful design, we’re eager to celebrate it. ⁠ ⁠ The winners of Best Woodcraft in our Wallpaper* Design Awards 2021 include Poltrona Frau’s grid-like ‘Kyoto’ table, designed by Italian designer and architect Gianfranco Frattini, who was inspired by Japanese woodworking workshops he visited in the 1970s. Made from solid beech with walnut inserts set with 45 degree joints, it features slide-off counterpoise legs that can be positioned as desired. ⁠ ⁠ Another recently reissued wooden wonder is Danish architect Børge Mogensen’s ‘BM0865’ daybed, initially launched at the 1958 Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild Furniture Exhibition, and now reintroduced by Carl Hansen & Søn.
