It’s hard posting on social media, when going through personal things. For me, it’s a family illness. It seems stupid & insulting to post a model photo when everyone I love, including myself, is so sad. With that being said, the #siswimsearch2021 is still going on. A dream and goal of mine for 3 years. I fear that I may have taken myself out of the running as I stopped posting as much when things first took a turn last month. So I would just like to post and remind @si_swimsearch I’m still here and I still really badly want this. I don’t just want to be in the magazine, or to be a part of the @si_swimsuit family (which I reallyyy want to be). I want the platform that comes with being associated with such an amazing brand. I want to echo your words of body positivity, self love, & inclusion. I also want to shatter archaic labels of what is stereotypically “masculine” & “feminine”. I want to talk about figuring out what makes you happy & running full speed towards it, despite all the sh*t people will try to give you. I’m tired of agencies saying “I’m too muscular”. I do a lot of things people are shocked I do, “as a woman”. I drive motorcycles, I’m learning to fly a plane, & I box 🥊.. I’d say pretty well haha. I lift heavy, run fast, & go hard 😈💪😅 I also do a lot of things that I get sh*t for as a woman— I have 2 degrees, & have chosen to work with my husband to help further his career. I’d say I’m his trainer, nutritionist & manger— but people still say I’m just a “trophy wife”😒. I post photos in lingerie, swimwear & my birthday suit as I celebrate my journey to self love & as a way to express myself, it’s my art— but all my new found confidence just makes me “slutty” or “attention seeking”. Women can do whatever the f*ck they want. Look however the f*ck they want. Be whateverrrrr the f*ck they want!! And it took me way too long to truly believe that. So if I can help just 1 other girl or woman feel more confident in her skin, I will truly have reached my goal. ❤️」2月3日 9時45分
