Seyfried—who goes by @mingey on Instagram—stars in the upcoming biopic of the Citizen Kane screenwriter Herman J Mankiewicz, titled Mank and directed by David Fincher, which is already being called the performance of her career. “I’ve always known I’m capable of a lot of things, but I guess I never really got this type of challenge before,” she tells #VogueAustralia’s @hannahroserose. Seyfried is currently the frontrunner to not only get a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for the role—but to win. “I’m so proud,” she says. “I have really crazy pinch-me moments, because I have been working for 20 years, and I’ve changed a lot and grown a lot, and grown a lot of confidence. I’ve got my feet firmly planted on the ground in terms of what I want in my career, what I want day-to-day, and what I want in my life. So when I’m walking onto David Fincher’s set in the place I’m at right now in my life, it was the perfect timing."
