RIP Ricky Powell..
One of the first photographers I ever collaborated with was Ricky Powell when he invited me to do a two person show with him at his friend @uncle_ssur_rusty shop. I painted over this photo of him in 1997 for the invitation. Ricky was generous and endlessly entertaining with NY stories. Learning he passed is very sad news..
