Absolutely no one has asked about my morning routine but it’s a snow day so let me share anyway. 💨💨💨

Think of this as a guideline for skin health. I’m not a pro but I’ve given a lot of thought about skin health over the years. It’s our largest organ!

My 5 Basic Steps: Cleanser, Toner, Essence (new step), Serum, Moisturizer.

The morning is easy and always the same: Gentle cleanser, Toner, Essence, Vitamin C, HA serum, Eye cream, Light Moisturizer (if needed) & Sunscreen.

Evenings are a bit more complicated but repetitive: Makeup remover, Cleanser, Toner, Essence. Then Retinol on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday; Glycolic/Salicylic on Wednesday; Hydrating moisturizer Saturday & Sunday plus physical exfoliate & face mask on Sunday.

Don’t forget your neck. I’ve got it down to 7 mins each night. Worth it. I’m not familiar with the benefits of olive oil (tho it makes sense) but for skin health on a superficial basis I do Xeomin (Botox like derivative) 3x a year. Tho technically Botox doesn’t work on your skin, it works on the nerve endings on your muscles underneath but the side effect is a smoother forehead! 😎
