Skiing in Ventura, CA. Yesterday felt like once in a lifetime with perfect snow blanketing Ventura county. We explored one of the more prominent & beautiful peaks in the Los Padres Wilderness. From the summit we could see the Channel Islands all the way to the Sierra! This is a coastal peak has been on my list to explore for years. Never thought I would be able to ski it tho. 2021 has brought a whole new meaning to backyard adventures. Truly the best kind there is. Sadly all I had was my iPhone for this ... a small part of me was sad for not being able to properly document but overall I felt more focused on being in this very rare moment.
