Lemon Pepper Tenders⁠

2-3 chicken breast (…or 2 lbs)⁠
1 cup flour⁠
1 cup potato starch⁠
1tbs cumin⁠
1tbs onion powder⁠
1tbs chili powder⁠
⁠
Flavor God:⁠
2 tbs Lemon & Garlic⁠
2 tbs Garlic Lovers⁠
1tbs Everything⁠
⁠
4 cups butter milk⁠
1/4 cup hot sauce⁠
Oil for frying…I used Canola⁠
⁠
Sauce:⁠
1/4 cup butter⁠
3 tbs honey⁠
Juice of half a lemon⁠
1 tsp Lemon & Garlic Seasoning (Flavor God)⁠
Pinch of salt and pepper⁠
Green onion⁠
Optional: roasted garlic⁠
⁠
Slice breast into strips and season with Flavor God: 1 tbs lemon & Garlic, 1 tbs Garlic lovers, and 1 tbs Everything.⁠

Toss chicken in a bowl with Buttermilk and hot sauce. Let that marinate for at least an hour.⁠
⁠
Add your flour, potato starch and the rest of your seasonings to a bowl and whisk together.⁠
⁠
Coat your chicken thoroughly with your flour mixture and let sit for 5 minutes.⁠
⁠
Preheat your frying oil to 350 F⁠
⁠
Fry your strips 5-6 minutes flipping every couple minutes or until golden brown.placing on a paper bowel lined dish as they finish.⁠

For the sauce whisk together butter, honey, lemon and garlic seasoning, green onion, and lemon juice (optional: roasted garlic) until smooth.⁠

Toss your chicken with your sauce then serve.⁠
⁠
I topped mine with more green onion and parmesan.⁠
