He has told my brothers and me the story of this shape over and over again (like the many stories he tells over and over again haha) But this story was always very special. This board shaped by The Great, Uncle Ben Aipa. Uncle Ben played a very big part in my dads surf career, shaping some of the most important boards he’s ever surfed. Uncle Ben shared so much of his craft, knowledge of the ocean, and his time with my dad. All of those things have been passed down to us. This board now hangs in my house and will forever hold a special place in our families heart!
