I wanted to recreate the country parties we used to sometimes go to in high school. Even though we ended up cutting into it for timing, we shot the car to the party intro scene in one shot, thanks to the amazing @gclorusso_dp who jumped backwards out of the ute and followed our amazing actors @millyalcock @markella.kavenagh and @kye_lista, not to mention the AMAZING background artists who we literally poached from the local skate parks and cafes and despite most having no prior acting experience, were so committed, patient, and collaborative. You were amazing. This party was our very first day, and it will forever be one of the best days of my life. (Albeit a sleepless, Adrenalin filled one!) If you can make it tonight, THANKYOU!
