For those who’ve been following us for a while, you may know that Remix has a pretty strong fear and anxiety response to noise aversion. Living in south Florida doesn’t help with our frequent thunderstorms. It’s not uncommon for Remix to wake us up in the middle of the night with heavy panting and shaking. These episodes can sometimes last for hours and aren’t healthy for the pup or his human!

We’ve probably tried over a dozen home solutions with minimal results. Starting in the next couple weeks, we’re going to be working with our vet to find a more suitable solution. We’ve been reading about many great products out there that fit our needs. One product that piqued my interest is a product that is prescribed by your veterinarian and is FDA-approved specifically to treat noise aversion in dogs.
