Why haven’t I climbed 5.14?” “I will train her so she will beat you in competition” The list is endless. And it’s sad to sit and reflect on this. Our community can certainly be supportive AND be really shitty simultaneously. And my message for you is to keep that chin up and keep pushing forward even when you have others doubting you. You don’t need to look a certain way to be a great climber. You don’t need to look a certain way to enjoy climbing for what it is.
