spent some time today reading again about MLK Jr and reminding myself of how he gave his life for the fight for equality. It reminds me how I need to stay committed myself to standing up for equality however small I may seem. We all must every day look for how the systemic racism that is foundational in this country can be dismantled and changed. It’s not an easy thing to fix. It’s small daily actions. One day hopefully his beautiful dream will come true.
