Inauguration Day preparations have commenced in Washington, D.C. Photographer Chris Morris—who has documented previous presidential administrations, war, and conflict since the mid-1980s—is on the scene to capture the unprecedented nature of it all. “I was in a state of shock when I reached the Capitol because I have witnessed this in other countries,” he says. “There is a sinister nature.”
