You have all met me at different stages in my life, and some of you are only just meeting me. For me, I was ready to get back to a version of myself that I felt most like myself—slide one (left photo was my inspiration, that was taken in 2009). The picture next to it was born in 2020.  Am I giving a ten-year challenge?   The second slide was me at my heaviest on the left February(2019), then on the right ( red dress) was exactly a year apart, taken in February 2020 before everything shut down.   Truthfully, I knew I gained weight but didn’t realize the extent because I was dealing with so much life.  2019 was when I decided to do something about it. Most of the weight came off from dieting. 2020 I incorporated working out consistently into my routine.   I know some of you guys have been following my workouts in stories, I plan on posting some more here soon.   The other slides are what you guys see now, me working towards new goals and discovering parts of me I'd not met before.    The difference between the two photos in the first slide is that the woman on the right, shes strong both physically and figuratively.   I’m putting this up as an exercise in vulnerability but also as a reminder to us all, monitor how much idolization you are doing on the internet. Your path is designed for you. The obstacles you may face in your lifetime is only meant to build you up.  Give yourself and others permission to evolve. I do believe that God never gives us more than we can handle.
