found this from my trip home christmas 2019 - this is my high school theatre.
.
the first real work i did as an actor was on this stage. being there again - i went full sentimental. like, made sure no one was around and then got up and actually *sang a song* from The King and I that i’d performed here. 🤦🏽‍♀️ sooo cheesy. so fun.
.
may the arts flourish in again in 2021. may the theatre and all those who depend on it for income & for soul food come roaring back to life and tell us more stories.
