What do lions dream? Did you know that lions can sleep up to 20 hours a day? Not in one long stretch but rather in a series of short cat naps. Are lions lazy or just conserving their energy? Mostly when people view lions on game drives they’re sleeping unless you catch them early morning or late afternoon when they become active again. That’s because lions are crepuscular creatures and moving around in the soaring daytime temperatures is simply a waste of their energy.
