Brooklyn and Baileyさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Brooklyn and BaileyInstagram)「Our lives have been on the internet for so long it’s difficult to remember anything else. While that has brought so many blessings in ours lives, it’s also a reason and cause for a lot of unnecessary pressure to be perfect. I often think the majority of people want to believe that public figures aren’t humans. That we are to have a higher set of expectations simply bc we have followings. But who teaches us how to not make mistakes or how to please everyone? All anyone can do is their best. With 6 million opinions at your back every single day for 11 years, it definitely weighs on a person. I adore what I do. I adore y’all with every fiber of my being, but sometimes it can be too much for 1 person. Sometimes seeing the outrageous and even vicious lies and opinions people spread about us is hard to ignore. I think the reason people like to downplay these struggles is because influencers don’t talk about them often enough. I’m actually going to lay out the realities of our day to day lives and the messages we receive. They span from rumors of us riding helicopters and limos to college (yes @ Baylor students we did hear about those lies lol) to written out paragraphs of brooklyn being compared to Hitler. Yes you heard me right, Adolf Hitler. Recently we have received death threats over false lies spread about our family only adopting our sweet younger siblings to appear BIPOC sensitive on social media (Even tho half of these platforms didn’t exist when they were adopted). We get body shaming comments hourly. Perverted DM’s constantly. Racist comments towards our siblings. Hate about religion. Hate messages for publicly supporting LGBTQ+, BLM and other national movements every single day. It’s a constant struggle of reading messages like these and still know yourself and your self worth well enough that others lies cannot bring you down. We likely will not have the chance to get to know every single one of you on a personal level to show you our true character. So I just ask this, please be mindful of what you say about others. Everyone is human, same as you. Remember to be kind and accepting of EVERYONE, and we will continue to do the same. Love you guys❤️」1月14日 14時03分 - brooklynandbailey
