エイモス・リーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (エイモス・リーInstagram)「My mom, Loretta, was recently in the hospital with covid-19. It was a very scary time, but she’s doing well and home now recovering. The night after she got home I did a benefit zoom call for the amazing radio station @lightning100 and met a very kind woman (and her wonderful husband). She shared with me that her father had recently passed away from Covid-19 @missionhealthnc in Asheville, North Carolina. Coincidentally, my dear friend Hazel is a nurse in the covid ICU at that hospital (pictured above). I wanted to return the kindness and generosity they showed me, and told her that I would donate 24 handmade quilts to the covid ICU at Mission Hospital in her Fathers name(Thomas)...one for each bed on the unit. When my mom was in the hospital she told me she wished she just had a comfortable blanket, so I thought this might offer a little comfort in a tough situation. A big thanks to @sunnyside_trading_co in Asheville for the kindness and help getting these beautiful and bright quilts to the hospital. immense love to all the families who have lost someone in the last year. immeasurable thanks to the front line health care workers who are working tirelessly through all of this chaos to help treat as many of our loved ones as they can.
