Me and @peterjvoogd use athletes as an example but this advice goes to anybody who has finally reached their business goals and now is in the maintaining stage. This stage of success is actually even busier and more taxing than the chasing your dreams stage; insert my favorite quote EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS AINT GOLD. Just like I tell all my friends that made it to the league, “ your sport is your tool, not your life”. In any area of life, this mindset will not only help you succeed more (and beat getting taking advantage of) but it’ll also help you to stress less. It reminds us that we are human, not our jobs. We all don’t have to be the best business men and women, but we all should educate ourselves on economics so that we are better prepared and in the loop while we sharpen our God given TOOLS (that could one day make make us millions).
