You heard right—Matt’s joining us to give two interactive workshop sessions on January 28: “Designing Beautiful Interfaces” and “Designing for Accessibility.” Two important topics which MDS will take you through, leaving you with actionable takeaways to make your design work better and more inclusive. In addition to leading projects for clients all over the globe through his eponymous Studio MDS, Matt’s lectured at universities and design conferences across America—including taking the main stage at our very own Hang Time NYC event. (The crowd went wild, btw.) Matt’s also created the Float Label pattern, an interface element used in a litany of design systems you probably encounter daily. He’s also developed the Contrast accessibility app for the Mac, as well as the Flowkit component library, which empowers designers to craft user flows right within their go-to design tools. In essence, MDS in not just an incredible designer, but one who also crafts tools which help *other* designers do their best work. In that same spirit, Matt’s latest launch —@shiftnudge — is a comprehensive online course collection to educate and inspire the next generation of interface designers.
