Sex and the City is officially returning in a new limited series titled And Just Like That—but how will it handle the departure of Samantha Jones? With Kim Cattrall not involved in the limited series for, uh, obvious reasons, production will have to find some fanciful, Samantha-esque way to write the libidinous PR queen off the show once and for all. Unless, of course, the role is recast, an idea that Cattrall has pushed for in the past, urging a woman of color to be tapped for the part. (SJP doesn’t seem to have ruled it out.)
