Prince William spoke to staff from Homerton University Hospital in London to hear about their experiences in recent weeks, and to offer his thanks for their continued efforts.

In the past week, Homerton University Hospital has seen their highest number of admissions since the pandemic began, with over 200 COVID patients currently being cared for.

Providing psychological support for staff at such a challenging time is essential, and this has been embraced by Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Funds from @nhscharitiestogether — of which The Duke and Duchess became join Patrons in December 2020 — have paid for breakfast boxes sent to hospital and community staff, and a new break out room for A&E staff, and even the creation of a ‘Wobble Room’ in the hospital for staff to relax.
