So there are photos of a protest surrounding Kavanaugh’s confirmation from 2018 circulating on the rightwing social mediocrities that is trying to equate Amy Schumer (pictured above) with the RedDawn cosplayers who temporarily inconvenienced democracy today. 3 key differences:
Schumer was
1) not at the Capitol, this is the Hart Senate office building.
2) not armed and
3) pretty promptly arrested, along with 300 of her fellow protestors. Compared to the 52 arrests made today.
