Does an influential fashion brand still need an Instagram account in 2021?
Yesterday, resurgent Italian label Bottega Veneta (headed up by internet shy Daniel Lee), somewhat ironically made shockwaves across social media – after saying goodbye to their nearly four-million cumulative followers across Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, by deleting their accounts on all of those platforms.
This exodus suggests a new beginning for the increasingly popular brand -- but will it reverberate across the industry over the next 12 months?
