SOUND ON 🔊 I’ve always known that Texas was cool. Ever since I worked here over twenty years ago, I’ve known it. But this morning, after hearing that unmistakable Emergency Broadcast System “alert” sound from the radio... I realized just how cool Austin was. Instead of a mechanical authoritarian voice telling me what would happen in an actual emergency, I heard... @マシュー・マコノヒー. Yep. Whoever is running that particular bureaucracy here... bravo. Just one request: Can Matthew also read the instructions during the real deal? Because if we are ever looking down the barrel of impending disaster, I think I speak for the people when I say that the first thing we all need to hear is: “Alright, alright, alright.”
