“what makes you bloom?” when @veuveclicquot posed this question to me, my initial thought was “intention” as i’ve always wanted to approach my work and life with specific intentions. but, as i thought more about it, i realized quickly that it’s the “by chance” moments that can happen in a shoot (or in life) that can be the most rewarding and can ultimately change and inform the creative intent of a work. i always want to leave room to be open and receptive to these strokes of “serendipity”.

at large, the celebration of #LaGrandeDame x #YayoiKusama is a great reminder to approach the present and future with gratitude and keep perspective despite the unpredictability of it all. here’s to a hopeful and optimistic 2021.
