I’ve never taken this much time away before to reset, but I am so glad I did. I came here after about 6 months of being alone in my NYC apartment going through the pandemic. Something in me snapped (physically and emotionally) and I knew I needed to leave. So I headed to be with my parents in Florida. Being here has completely shifted where “home” is for me. “Home” for me, now, is wherever your heart feels at peace. And my heart has felt at peace these last 4 months. It has been so wonderful. I’ve also learned and discovered so much about what my body, this shell that I occupy for a brief time here on Earth, needs to function at its best. For those curious, I’m about 80% better physically than when I left...and 800000% better emotionally. I could not be heading back to NYC feeling more rejuvenated and ready to take on 2021. Thank you all for being so supportive. And thank you to my parents for taking care of me these last 4 months. You are so special to me and it means so much that you would stop your life for me the way you did. This trip was everything I hoped it would be. Now...let’s go release an album :) Love you!
