As your kids get older they start to live their own life and want their own space. My oldest son Henry just got married and moved in with his wife about an hour from me. He is off doing his own thing and I’m beyond happy for him and his wife. This was the first year we were all able to celebrate Thanksgiving together. My son and his wife, my other son and his fiancé, and the rest of my family. My second son Val has been at home with me, him and his fiancé. There is no way I could have got through last year without them. I’m glad he decided to come back home. Not too long ago they were living in FL and NC. It was hard for me to be that far from him. Soon we will be in our Texas home and I know there will be a lot of changes. One day I’m sure he will be off to start his own life like my oldest. But today... I’m grateful to be able to put arms around him. I’m happy we could spend this beautiful Sunday together.
